I am a 20-something publishing masters student currently researching and exploring the world of publishing - from history to future aspirations; editing to rights management.
Xplore Publishing is aimed at people looking to expand their understanding of all aspects within publishing. You may be an author, a student, looking for a career move, or simply curious.
I have found that entering an industry for the first time can be daunting, hence my choice to share my ideas and musings online where I can organise my thoughts, and hopefully temper some of the bigger issues into easier-to-understand snapshots.
I view every question as worthwhile, from the simple to the complex. I am training myself to consult on and research even the 'stupid' sounding questions in order to improve my experience of publishing. On this note, I welcome constructive criticism as I am a big fan of collaborative learning and believe healthy debate is a great way to help everyone interested in this blog to Xplore Publishing.
